One inbox, read by editors
Everything sent to TRAVELHIFI arrives at support@travelhifi.com. That is the only address we publish and the only one we answer from. It is read and triaged by the editors themselves, not by a ticketing system, and we keep it that way deliberately: on a team this size, extra departmental aliases are just places for mail to get lost.
You will reach the right person fastest if the first word of your subject line says what the mail is. DEAL, CORRECTION, TIP, PITCH, ADVERTISING or PRIVACY covers almost everything. If your message is about a specific article, paste the link rather than describing the headline.
Expired deals and wrong information
The most valuable mail we get is a reader telling us something on the site has stopped being true. If a fare we published no longer prices out, write with DEAL in the subject and the link, and we will retest it and mark the post expired if it is dead. If a visa rule, entry requirement or safety detail in a guide is out of date, use CORRECTION, include the link and the sentence you are disputing, and if you have it, the official source that says otherwise. Our corrections policy explains exactly what happens after your mail lands and what you will hear back.
Tips and pitches
If you have spotted a genuinely good fare, a route announcement, or a rule change we have not covered, send it with TIP in the subject. Tell us where you saw it and when. First-hand detail is worth even more: how a new entry rule is actually being applied at the border is often a better story than the announcement of the rule.
Freelance pitches are welcome, particularly from people writing about places they know first-hand. Two or three paragraphs is enough: what the story is, why now, and what makes you the person to write it. Please put the pitch in the body of the mail. We do not open unsolicited attachments.
Advertising, privacy and legal
Advertising and sponsorship enquiries go to the same address with ADVERTISING in the subject. Read the advertise page first: it explains what we sell, what we refuse, and what your money does not buy. Privacy requests under our privacy policy should use PRIVACY as the subject. Copyright notices are handled as described on the DMCA page and should be marked DMCA.
What to expect back
We read everything, but we are a small team and we prioritise. Corrections and dead deals are handled first, usually the same day. Tips are acted on as fast as we can verify them. Pitches and advertising enquiries are typically answered within a few working days. If a message needs no action and no answer, we may not reply, but it was read.
One last practical note: please never email us passport numbers, booking references or payment details. We do not need them for anything, and our privacy policy asks you not to send them. If you want to show us a fare or a booking problem, a screenshot with your personal details cropped out tells us everything we need.
